NHL Stars Gear Up for Four Nations Face-Off Event

The rosters for the upcoming Four Nations Face-Off event have been revealed, featuring a mix of seasoned veterans and emerging stars from the NHL. Team USA will be led by Auston Matthews, Charlie McAvoy, and Connor Hellebuyck, with Chris Kreider and Brock Nelson adding experience to the front line. The team also features brothers Brady and Matthew Tkachuk.

Canada’s roster boasts top talent in Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, and Sidney Crosby, with Sam Reinhart and Mitch Marner rounding out the forward group. Defensemen Travis Sanheim and Colton Parayko join Cale Makar and Devon Toews on the blueline.

Sweden is relying on skill and speed up front, with Lucas Raymond, Leo Carlsson, and Elias Pettersson joining veterans William Nylander, Mika Zibanejad, and Filip Forsberg. The team’s back end features rising star Rasmus Dahlin and established Norris Trophy winner Erik Karlsson.

Finland will be led by Mikko Rantanen, Aleksander Barkov, and Sebastian Aho in the forward department, with a shutdown defense anchored by Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell, and Rasmus Ristolainen. Juuse Saros is projected to be Finland’s top goaltender.

The tournament will take place from February 12-20 at Boston’s TD Garden and Montreal’s Bell Centre, featuring a round-robin format with the top two teams advancing to a winner-take-all final. The US is the second choice to win it all, followed by Sweden and Finland.
