Rapper Nicki Minaj has been sued by a former employee who alleges physical assault by the singer. Brandon Garrett, a day-to-day manager for her Pink Friday 2 tour, claims that Minaj hit him backstage in Detroit after discovering he had sent another employee to pick up prescriptions instead of doing it himself. According to Garrett, Minaj shouted threats and warnings, including telling him she would have knocked out his teeth if her husband were present. She allegedly then physically struck him on the face with an open hand, causing him to lose his hat. Security swarmed in after the incident, leading to further physical contact that left documents scattered on the floor.
