Born on May 11, 1970, in South Dakota, Katt began his acting career as a child, appearing in TV shows such as “Quincy, M.E.” and “CHiPs.” As an adult, he gained a reputation for playing unsavory characters, earning praise from directors like Steven Soderbergh.

Throughout his career, Katt appeared in numerous films, including “A Time to Kill,” “Boiler Room,” and “The Limey.” He also had roles in popular franchises like “Batman & Robin” and “The Dark Knight.”
Katt continued to work in television, landing the lead role of teacher Harry Senate on “Boston Public.” His final acting credit was a 2018 Hulu series, “Casual.” In a 2002 interview, Katt expressed his ambivalence about chasing success in Hollywood, saying he would do what his gut tells him.
