Nintendo has announced that Super Soccer, a popular 1991 SNES football game, will be removed from its Japanese Nintendo Switch Online catalogue on March 28th. The reason for the removal remains unknown, leaving fans wondering if it’s due to licensing issues or unrelated to the upcoming release of the Switch 2 console. This marks the first time a title has been pulled from the service since its launch. As the catalogue ages, concerns are growing about the stability of digital game libraries. Wario Land 4 was added to the service just last month, bringing it closer to reaching a collection of dozens of classic games.
