Nintendo has confirmed a suite of titles set to launch on its aging hardware, including the original Nintendo Switch console. The announcements came during the final presentation dedicated to the Switch, which also showcased upcoming releases for 2025 and beyond.
Metroid Prime 4 and Pokémon Legends: Z-A were among the highlights of the presentation, with Metroid Prime 4 showcasing Samus’ new telekinetic abilities. This game is likely to be a standout title on the console.
Other notable titles include Dragon Quest 1+2 HD-2D Remake, No Sleep for Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files, and Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. A brand new metroidvania game featuring Pac-Man and mech robots is also in development.
In addition to these games, Nintendo has announced several titles releasing later this year or next, including Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, King of Meat, and Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots. The company has also confirmed that its digital game cards will be available for loan on multiple consoles starting in April.
For fans of music and rhythm, Rhythm Heaven: Groove is set to release in 2026. Meanwhile, a new news app called Nintendo Today will provide daily updates about the Switch and its games.
These announcements bring new life to the aging hardware and give players plenty of options to enjoy well into 2026.
