Earlier this week, reports emerged of a potential remake in celebration of the game’s 30th anniversary, but Horii took to the stage and told attendees he had never mentioned anything about it. This comes as part of Square Enix’s plans to release various projects in honor of Chrono Trigger’s milestone birthday. While fans may be disappointed, the original game remains a timeless classic with its Steam port still holding up well today.
