Oasis has made a triumphant return to the stage after a 16-year absence. The Britpop icons performed in front of over 70,000 fans at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4 and 5. In their second show, guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher credited his former bandmate Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs with helping to bring the brothers back together.
Noel revealed this information while introducing the rest of the band between songs, stating that Bonehead was crucial to the reunion. This news comes after it was previously reported that Bonehead would be joining Oasis on their tour.
The reunited band played to a packed crowd at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and paid tribute to late Liverpool star Diogo Jota during their performance of “Live Forever.” Fans have praised the brothers’ reunion, with one fan describing it as “better than Jesus’ return!” The Oasis Live ’25 trek will continue with shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, North America, South America, Australia, South Korea, and Japan.
