North Korea Troops Suffer ‘Serious Losses’ Fighting Alongside Russians

North Korean troops, estimated to be between 10,000 and 12,000 in number, have been engaged in combat alongside Russian forces in the Kursk region. Ukraine’s intelligence services report at least 30 North Korean soldiers killed or wounded in the area.

To cope with “serious losses”, North Korean units have set up additional observation posts to detect drone strikes. They gather in groups of 20-30 soldiers before launching attacks, moving in small groups of six and using red tape for identification.

The constant accumulation of assault groups indicates that Moscow wants to maintain a rapid pace of offensive actions. In a shocking revelation, Ukraine’s Security Service intercepted a phone call between a nurse and her soldier husband, claiming over 200 wounded North Korean soldiers were brought to a Russian hospital near Moscow.

Pentagon officials confirm that North Korean forces have suffered casualties, with the US assessing “dozens” of killed or wounded soldiers. This deployment has sparked condemnation from Ukraine’s foreign partners, who introduced additional sanctions on individuals and entities involved in North Korean military assistance to Russia.
