Google’s AI-powered research assistant, NotebookLM, is enhancing its productivity features with significant updates. A recently leaked internal memo reveals that the tool will introduce Multiple audio overviews and Artifact sharing in the Studio panel, addressing user limitations in generating Audio Overviews in different languages.
Audio Overviews users can now create multiple versions of outputs from a single source, making it easier to organize content for various audiences or sections. Additionally, multilingual users will benefit from generating Audio Overviews in their preferred language without overwriting previous audio.
The most anticipated feature, Video Overviews, is also nearing release. This new feature allows users to turn documents into “long-form video essays” narrated by an AI voice. Users can customize the content based on specific sources, topics, or audiences, and these features are expected to roll out gradually starting June 30th.
Note: It’s essential to note that information from a leaked internal memo should be taken with caution until confirmed by Google itself.
