NotebookLM Now Available on Android App Store

Google has released its highly anticipated AI-powered tool, NotebookLM, in a mobile app format, offering users a more seamless experience. The app is now live on the Google Play Store, but it’s not yet available for download. However, interested users can pre-register to receive notifications when the app becomes available.

NotebookLM leverages Google’s advanced AI models to analyze and process documents, videos, and other multimedia content. Its unique feature allows users to upload multiple files of different types in a single session, with a context window of 500,000 tokens and file sizes up to 200MB. This enables the creation of an “AI expert” that can answer detailed questions and generate ideas based on the uploaded data.

The Android app marks a significant improvement over the previous website interface, offering a more refined user experience. Google plans to release the app at its I/O conference in May, and pre-registration is now open for those eager to get started with NotebookLM. Until then, users can explore the app’s features through screenshots provided on the Play Store listing.
