Novo Nordisk’s CEO, Mike Doustdar, has issued a challenge to Pfizer Inc. The US drugmaker is trying to buy obesity-drug developer Metsera Inc. Doustdar said that if Pfizer wants the company, it needs to increase its bid. This move brings a competition between two big pharmaceutical companies to the White House, where the meeting took place with President Donald Trump.
