Nvidia CEO Hypes Nintendo Switch 2’s Advancements

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently spoke about the late Satoru Iwata’s legacy and the innovation behind the original Nintendo Switch console. During a financial call, Huang stated that the Nintendo Switch 2 pushes the boundaries of mobile technology with its most advanced graphics in a mobile device. He also highlighted Nvidia’s role in making the Switch a success, citing their Tegra chipsets.

Huang advised that modern GPUs like those found on Xbox One, PS4, and PC are now being integrated into gaming consoles, including the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. This suggests that the console will have similar graphical capabilities to other high-end systems.

The Nvidia CEO expressed his excitement about the Nintendo Switch 2, stating that he believes you’ll be hyped too after attending a keynote speech at CES and a press event. He emphasized the console’s advancements in graphics and technology.

In contrast, some fans have expressed skepticism about the console’s price and compatibility with older games. However, Huang reassured that the SoC for Switch 2 was designed with backward compatibility in mind.
