Nvidia CEO Says AI Adoption is ‘Racing’ Globally

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is “incredibly fast” among key players, including model builders and companies creating consumer-oriented AIs. He described this phenomenon as a “race to get to the next level.”

Agentic AI, which understands physical world concepts like inertia and gravity, is expected to emerge next, according to Huang. This technology will be used in self-driving cars, robotics systems, and other applications.

The demand for AI has surged due to advancements in model performance, with startups like DeepSeek releasing comparable models at a lower cost. This has significantly increased Nvidia’s computing capabilities and affected the company’s business.

Huang also discussed his meeting with President Donald Trump and expressed support for working with the administration to achieve its goals. However, he noted that export-controlled technology is becoming increasingly outdated compared to the US version, making it slower and less competitive over time.

Recently released fourth-quarter earnings show Nvidia’s revenue increased by 78% year-over-year, reaching $39.3 billion, while net income grew by 80%. The company’s market capitalization stands at around $2.94 trillion.
