Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced that manufacturers will need two factories to implement artificial intelligence into their product offerings. This is expected to impact every industry, not just the automotive sector. According to Huang, the first factory will be for producing physical products, while the second will focus solely on developing and manufacturing AI.
Huang emphasized that this new normal will apply to all companies with factories that plan to incorporate AI. He also highlighted Nvidia’s expanded partnership with General Motors, which aims to revolutionize manufacturing, enterprise design, and in-car experiences through AI.
Nvidia has already established partnerships with major car brands like Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo, and supplies chips for self-driving initiatives at Waymo and Tesla. With this new deal, Nvidia is expanding its presence within GM’s company.
