Nvidia Fails to Fix Black Screen Issues on Older RTX Cards

Nvidia has released several hotfixes and driver updates aimed at fixing black screen issues affecting some of its new RTX-50 cards. However, gamers with older RTX 40 and 30-series cards are facing worse problems than ever.

Since the release of the RTX 5090 in January, Nvidia’s graphics cards have experienced numerous black screen crashes and driver-release issues. Despite releasing a fix for RTX-50 owners, many users with older models are still experiencing issues.

Nvidia has acknowledged the problem but seems to be prioritizing its new cards. Meanwhile, some users suggest rolling back drivers to earlier versions or disabling features like DLSS as temporary fixes.

The situation is far from resolved, and Nvidia’s gaming audience is feeling neglected. With critics accusing the company of ignoring its older customers in favor of newer releases, it’s clear that more needs to be done to address these issues.
