NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Graphics Cards Released Starting at $249

NVIDIA has announced its latest GeForce graphics card, the RTX 5050, which brings faster performance and improved features to gamers. The new GPU is available in desktop form starting at $249 and laptop form starting at $999.

Gamers can expect to see significant improvements in esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Marvel Rivals, and Apex Legends with NVIDIA Reflex technology. The RTX 5050 also supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, which provides an immersive ray-traced experience in single-player games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Avowed.

The new GPU features a single PCIe 8-pin cable, drawing a maximum of 130 Watts at stock speeds, making it suitable for systems with power supplies delivering as little as 550 Watts. The RTX 5050 has a minimum Base Clock speed of 2.31GHz, equipped with 2,560 NVIDIA Blackwell CUDA Cores.

In comparison to its predecessor, the RTX 3050, the RTX 5050 offers significant performance improvements, with frame rates up to 2.4 times faster in raster FPS and consistently more than 4 times faster utilizing DLSS 4.

The release of the GeForce RTX 5050 marks a new era for gamers, offering improved frame rates, enhanced graphics, and responsive controls. With its release, NVIDIA is also rolling out the next GeForce Game Ready Driver, which includes support for all RTX 5050 GPUs – desktop and laptop.
