Nvidia has announced its highly anticipated GeForce RTX 5060-series graphics cards, including pricing, availability, and specifications.
Three separate models will be available: the RTX 5060 Ti in both 16GB and 8GB flavors, launching on April 16, and the cheaper RTX 5060 non-Ti version, set to arrive next month in May. The RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti pricing is as follows:
– RTX 5060: $299
– RTX 5060 Ti 8GB: $379
– RTX 5060 Ti 16GB: $429
The RTX 5060 Ti models offer improved performance compared to the RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti, thanks to their support for frame generation. The benchmarks show that the RTX 5060 Ti outperforms the RTX 4060 Ti in certain games, reaching up to 130fps.
AMD’s Radeon RX 9000-series models do not currently offer similar pricing options at this range. However, AMD is expected to release its Radeon RX 9060-series models soon, which may compete with Nvidia’s new cards.
The launch of the RTX 5060-series is likely to see prices for older cards drop, depending on supply and demand. For now, Nvidia’s newer models will have to compete with previous generation graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia itself.
Stay tuned for updates and reviews, including benchmarks against various other models, starting April 16.
