Nvidia has unveiled its RTX 50 series GPUs at CES 2025, and the desktop versions are set to be released on January 30. However, laptop versions featuring these GPUs won’t be available until March. Best Buy has already listed multiple gaming laptops powered by the new GPUs, including those from Asus and HP.
Among the listed options, the most affordable is the ROG Strix G16, priced at $1,899.99, which features an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti GPU and an AMD “Ryzen 9 HX” CPU. The pricier option is the ROG Zephyrus G16 from Asus, listed at $1,999.99, with a similar GPU configuration.
The most expensive option currently listed on Best Buy is the ROG Strix Scar 18, priced at $4,199.99, which features an Nvidia RTX 5090 and Intel Core Ultra 9 HX. HP’s Omen Max 16 model is also listed, featuring an RTX 5080 and Core Ultra 9 275HX for $2,699.99.
Note that none of these laptops are available to purchase yet; Best Buy has put up a “coming soon” banner for all of them, indicating they will likely be released in March.
