Nvidia’s GPU Acquisition Approved by EU Regulators

The European Commission has approved Nvidia’s $700 million acquisition of Run:ai, a deal that will strengthen the US chipmaker’s grip on the graphics processing unit (GPU) market. The EU launched an investigation into the deal, focusing on potential anti-competitive practices that could give Nvidia greater control over key computer components. However, regulators concluded that the acquisition would not raise significant competition concerns.
