Nvidia has released the latest entry in its 50-series lineup, the RTX 5070 Ti. At $749, it outperforms AMD’s $899 RX 7900 XT and trades blows with the $999 RX 7900 XTX. The RTX 5070 Ti delivers almost identical performance to the RTX 4080, but its power draw is slightly less.
In terms of gaming performance, the RTX 5070 Ti is around 14% faster at 4K than last-gen’s RTX 4070 Ti and nearly as fast as the $999 RTX 4080 Super. However, it falls short in terms of VRAM, with only 16GB available.
While prices are already rising, the RTX 5070 Ti offers impressive performance for its price. It is an ideal choice for those looking to upgrade to 4K gaming or demanding 1440p applications. Nevertheless, its limited VRAM and relatively modest upgrades from last-gen models may be a letdown for some users.
