NXT’s latest premium live event, Vengeance Day, took place at the CareFirst Arena in Washington D.C. The show was filled with surprises and significant moments that redefine the landscape of the women’s division.
The evening began with a title change, where Stephanie Vaquer emerged victorious to win the NXT women’s North American championship.
Later in the night, two mysterious groups carried out surprise attacks on champions Fraxiom and Josh Briggs, as well as Josh Briggs’ ally Yoshiki Inamura.
The main event saw Oba Femi face off against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory for the NXT championship, but the trio was suddenly interrupted by a new group known as Mysterio, leaving Oba Femi in a vulnerable position.
In other notable matches, Trick Williams competed in a strap match against Eddy Thorpe, while Je’Von Evans clashed with Ethan Page. Meanwhile, Santino Marella and Arianna Grace engaged in business discussions with Ava.
Additionally, the NXT women’s championship saw Giulia take on Bayley, Cora Jade, and Roxanne Perez, but the evening ended with Jordynne Grace revealing her intentions to target rivals Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.
