New York lawmakers are moving to ban Elon Musk’s Tesla dealerships in a bid to curb the billionaire CEO’s influence. Senator Patricia Fahy and other Democrats have joined forces to remove a waiver allowing Tesla to operate five in-person dealerships, forcing the company to sell vehicles through dealer franchises instead. The move is seen as an attempt to punish Tesla for Musk’s support of former President Trump.
