Members of the British rock band Oasis have expressed shock and sadness over a fan’s fatal fall from the upper level of London’s Wembley Stadium during their reunion concert on August 2. The band, led by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, released a statement to the BBC stating that they are “sincere in our condolences” to the family and friends of the deceased.
A spokesperson for the London Metropolitan Police said a concertgoer was found with injuries consistent with a fall and pronounced dead on the scene. A representative for Wembley Stadium also issued a statement confirming the man’s death, saying that despite emergency efforts, the fan could not be saved.
The Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour kicked off in July with seven sold-out performances at Wembley Stadium, marking the band’s first shows together since 2009. The brothers had last performed as part of the tour prior to a public feud.
