For the first time in 10 years, obesity levels in the US have dropped, with a new study attributing the decline to popular weight-loss medications like Ozempic. In 2023, the percentage of obese Americans fell to 43.96%, a decrease from 44.1% the previous year. The South saw the largest decline, with the highest number of prescriptions written for these life-changing drugs.
