Oblivion Remastered streamer Blurbss has taken the game to a new level by modding every single NPC to be high on Skooma, a potent and illicit substance in the world of Tamriel. The streamer, known for his previous mods that gave Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption 2 NPCs the power of speech, has now added the infamous persuasion system to Oblivion. As a result, all NPCs are now under the influence of Skooma, creating chaotic scenes in the game.
Skooma is a highly addictive substance that makes users extremely fast and strong for 20 seconds but also drains their Agility and Intelligence. In the game, this manifests in various ways, including the Emperor Uriel Septim’s rapid descent into chaos after consuming Skooma. The streamer has found the mod to be entertaining, even if it may not be the best way to play Oblivion.
The mod has led to hilarious moments, such as NPCs running at high speeds and Blurbss struggling to interact with them due to their state of intoxication. In one instance, the streamer became “Oblivion Remastered’s greatest gladiator” by exploiting the mod to bring down opponents in the Arena. While not recommended for all players, the Skooma-affected NPCs have brought a unique twist to the game.
