Ohio State Dominates Oregon 41-21 in Playoff Win

The Ohio State Buckeyes continued their dominant performance in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinals, defeating the Oregon Ducks 41-21 at the Rose Bowl presented by Prudential on Wednesday.

Ohio State led by as many as 34 points in the second quarter and secured a 20-point final margin of victory, the largest against an AP No.1 team in program history. The Buckeyes’ offense and defense both showcased their skills, with freshman receiver Jeremiah Smith scoring two touchdowns and racking up 187 receiving yards.

The Ducks were left reeling after the game, as Ohio State posted a witty caption on X that read “The Ducks came for the 🌹 but left with thorns.” The Buckeyes will now move on to the semifinal round of the playoff, where they will face the Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl.
