Oklahoma Wins NCAA Gymnastics Championship for Sixth Time

The Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team claimed its sixth national championship in nine years, outlasting UCLA and Utah at the 2025 NCAA championships in Fort Worth, Texas.

Led by senior Jordan Bowers, who won the individual all-around title on Thursday, Oklahoma dominated the competition from start to finish. The Sooners secured a strong lead that left only UCLA with a realistic chance of catching up by the final rotation.

UCLA finished second, followed by No. 4 Utah and No. 7 Missouri. The Bruins flirted with a perfect score on floor exercise, with Jordan Chiles earning a score of 9.9750 to briefly boost their team into first place.

The individual women’s national championships were decided the day before, with Jordan Bowers leading Oklahoma to victory in the all-around title. Other top performers included Grace McCallum from Utah and Brooklyn Moors from UCLA.
