Older Galaxy Phones Missed One UI 7 Beta Program

Samsung has confirmed that older Galaxy phones, including the S23, S22, and S21 series, will not receive the One UI 7 beta program but instead will get stable builds in February 2025.

The company started releasing One UI 7 betas for its latest devices at the start of this month. However, leaker @FamilyTaes revealed that older models, including those from the A series, would be skipping the beta program altogether.

On the other hand, Galaxy S24 series owners are getting the exclusive treatment, with the latest One UI 7 beta release already available for the devices. The next beta release is scheduled to happen between January 30 and February 6, followed by two or three more builds before the Unpacked event on January 22.

The new One UI 7 operating system features a “Now Bar” that expands when clicked upon, providing essential apps like music streaming services, timers, and voice notes. The second beta brought in bug fixes for the Now Bar feature.
