In our Advent Calendar tradition, I’m excited to share my favorite games of 2024 with you. This year’s selection box is diverse and packed with exciting titles that have captured my attention.
First up is Enshrouded, a survival crafting game that impressed me with its building system. Keen Games has created a standout feature that allows players to build structures with ease, thanks to powerful tools and contextual voxel manipulation. The game’s world has grown larger since I last played, and I’m eager to dive back in.
Next is Solium Infernum, a political hellspawn strategy game that kept me on the edge of my seat. Despite not finishing a full game, the endless machinations and mindgames had me engaged for hours. Although we never got to play it through to its conclusion, the experience was well worth it.
Last but not least is Delta Force, an extraction shooter that surprised me with its quality. With its streamlined Operations mode and beautiful maps, I’ve been having a blast playing this game. The gunplay feels great, and the inventory system keeps things interesting. While it may take some getting used to, Delta Force has quickly become one of my favorite games in the genre.
These three titles have made my 2024 selection box a standout one, offering something for every kind of gamer. Whether you’re into survival crafting, strategy, or extraction shooters, there’s something here for everyone.
