Colon cancer affects a significant number of people, with one in 24 men and one in 26 women expected to face the reality of this disease. According to Dr. Juliet Ray, a colorectal surgeon at HCA Florida JFK Hospital, 20% of new colon cancer cases are diagnosed in patients under 54.
To raise awareness and funds for colon cancer research, a charity event is being held on March 30th from 9am-10:30am at HiiT56 gym near Boca Raton. Organizers encourage participants to wear blue, the color associated with colon cancer, to show support. The Let’s Kick Cancer’s Butt Together event aims to make a difference through lifesaving screenings, patient support, and groundbreaking research.
Registration for the event can be accessed by clicking on the provided link. The event will take place at HiiT56 gym located at 9060 Kimberly Blvd.
