OnePlus Open 2 Set to Outdo Galaxy Fold 6 with Invisible Crease

Oppo’s upcoming foldable phone, the Find N5, has been teased as a potential rival to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6. According to a recent image posted by Pete Lau, Chief Product Officer at Oppo, the Find N5 appears to have a near-invisible crease, which is also expected to be feature in the upcoming OnePlus Open 2.

The image shows the Find N5 on one side, alongside an unnamed foldable that bears a resemblance to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The screen size of both phones seems to be comparable, with the Find N5 having a 7.82-inch panel and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 having a 7.6-inch display.

Lau has also highlighted the improved waterproofing on the Find N5, stating that it is “immensely durable, rain or shine” and should offer better protection against the elements than previous Oppo models. Furthermore, the phone’s camera upgrades and processor bump have generated excitement among fans, who may see it as a contender for the top spot in best foldables.

While the exact launch date of the Find N5 has not been confirmed, Oppo has hinted that it will make an appearance within the next two weeks, possibly globally under the name OnePlus Open 2.
