OnePlus Watch 3 Pro Leaks With Advanced Health Features

OnePlus is reportedly working on two new smartwatch variants, the OnePlus Watch 3 and its high-end counterpart, the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro. These devices are expected to come with a range of health features that could make them competitive in the market.

According to code strings found within the OHealth app, the OnePlus Watch 3 series is set to include electrocardiogram (ECG) support, wrist temperature detection, and a 60-second checkup mode. The ECG feature would allow users to start readings from their smartphone, providing access to health insights based on the results.

Wrist temperature detection is also expected to be included, although users will need to wear the watch for five days while sleeping to establish a baseline temperature. This information can then be used to monitor any changes in wrist temperature.

The OHealth app’s new features seem to be designed to improve upon the limitations of the OnePlus Watch 2. The latter lacked robust health and fitness monitoring capabilities, but the new features could change that.

In addition to these new features, the OHealth app is gaining a dedicated Health tab to house all of these data points. This upgrade suggests that OnePlus is taking its commitment to health monitoring seriously, which may be a key differentiator for the brand going forward.

While it’s unclear when the OnePlus Watch 3 and Pro will be released, their advanced health features could make them attractive options for those seeking smartwatches with robust wellness capabilities.
