OnePlus has announced that its new smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 3, is delayed due to a typo error on the rear casing. The watch was initially set to go on sale on February 25 but will now be released in April 2025.
The issue lies with the words “Meda” and “China” printed on the back of the device, which should read “Made in China.” A new batch is being produced to correct this error, and pre-orders for the corrected device are still open. However, customers who have already received their devices can return them without question.
While some might not notice or care about the typo, those who do may be waiting a couple of months longer than expected. The delay was unexpected, but it’s unlikely to be repeated.
