OnePlus Watch 3 to Feature Advanced Health Tracking and OHealth App Integration

OnePlus is set to unveil its latest smartwatch, the Watch 3, which promises to deliver advanced health tracking features. The device will support ECG readings, atrial fibrillation detection, and wrist temperature monitoring.

To track wrist temperature, users must first establish a baseline by sleeping with the watch for at least five days, with one sleep session lasting four or more hours. The app will then notify users when their wrist temperature exceeds or falls below the established range.

The Watch 3 also features a “60-second Checkup” feature, which quickly scans heart health, blood vessel elasticity, sleep snoring, vascular age, physical and mental status, blood oxygen levels, ECG readings, and wrist temperature. This feature will be accessible through a separate app called “60-second Checkup”.

Furthermore, the OHealth app will receive new features, including a Health tab with insights into longer-term health trends and daily workout and event notifications.

The OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to retail for around €247.99 (or ₹19,999). Its rumored specifications include a rotating bezel, Snapdragon W5 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. A Pro variant is also in the works, although its features have not been disclosed yet.

Note: All health-related features are subject to medical guidelines and should be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
