OnePlus Watch 3 to Feature Rotating Crown and Enhanced Features?

A recent leak suggests that the upcoming OnePlus Watch 3 may finally feature a rotating crown for device navigation, which could significantly enhance user experience. The leak, attributed to SmartPrix, shows an alleged rendering of the device with a rotating crown replacing the traditional home button.

According to the leak, the rotating crown would allow users to scroll through available apps by twisting the crown, similar to the Pixel Watch lineup. This feature has been highly anticipated by fans, and it’s possible that OnePlus will finally bring this functionality to its next-generation smartwatch.

The leak also suggests that the OnePlus Watch 3 may retain its multifunction button, as well as explore LTE support, 32GB of storage, and a battery capacity around 500mAh. Additionally, the device could come with an ECG feature, which would require government clearance due to health concerns.

Other rumored specifications include the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, GNSS and NFC support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 10W charger. The Watch 3 is expected to debut in Q1 2025, following similar launch plans for other OnePlus devices, such as the upcoming OnePlus 13 globally.
