OpenAI Seeks User Suggestions to Improve in 2025

In a recent post on X, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman asked his followers for ideas on how to improve the company’s products and services in 2025. The move comes after a tumultuous year marked by new litigation from competitor Elon Musk. Despite this, OpenAI has continued to advance, raising $6.6 billion in funding and pushing its valuation to $157 billion.

Altman is crowdsourcing ideas on how to improve ChatGPT and other products, including family-friendly features and enhanced voice chat capabilities. One idea put forward was creating “family accounts” with guardrails, allowing parents to set limits for their children’s use of the platform. Altman responded positively to this suggestion, indicating that he will consider it.

Another idea is improving the voice chat feature, which has been plagued by bugs and misinterpretations since its release. Users have struggled to enjoy seamless conversations with ChatGPT without interruptions.

Finally, users are urging Altman to enhance Sora, OpenAI’s text-to-video model, which allows users to create videos based on written prompts. The product is still in development, but users want to see it improved to prevent copyright violations while allowing for creative expression.
