Oppo is set to unveil its latest foldable device, the Find N5, with some impressive features that could give it an edge in the market. The main selling point of the Find N5 seems to be its water and dust resistance, which Oppo claims will make it the “only” foldable with IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings.
In a recent video posted on Weibo, Oppo’s Zhou Yibao showcased the Find N5 being submerged in water and even used underwater. The device reportedly passed the test without any issues. This level of resistance is not seen in other foldables currently available in the market.
The outer display of the Find N5 appears to have thinner bezels compared to its predecessor, while the inner display looks similar to the existing model. The camera position and aspect ratio remain unchanged from the Find N3 and OnePlus Open.
A previous teaser showed that Oppo has managed to make the hardware remarkably thin, with the foldable being only slightly thicker than a USB-C port when opened.
