Oppo Find X8 Ultra Specs Confirmed with Key Corrections

Oppo has responded to a leak by tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), confirming key specs for its upcoming flagship phone, the Find X8 Ultra. The response on Weibo validates DCS’s reputation as an accurate leaker and builds hype around the device.

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected to feature two periscope telephoto cameras on the back, one with 3x optical zoom and the other with 6x optical zoom. This gives Oppo a competitive edge in terms of zoom capabilities over rival phones like the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which also features two telephoto cameras but with different zoom ranges.

The phone is expected to be incredibly thin, measuring around 8.xx mm, making it one of the thinnest foldable phones on the market. It will also feature a custom vibration motor and a flat display with ultra-thin symmetrical bezels and a “2K” resolution.

One notable correction from DCS’s original leak is the battery size, which was initially reported as 6,000mAh but has been confirmed by Oppo as “a little bigger than 6,000mAh”. This will provide ample power for users. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, sports a smaller 4,685 mAh battery cell.

Unfortunately, there are rumors that the Find X8 Ultra may not see an international launch, with its smaller sibling, the Find X8 Pro, potentially taking its place in global markets instead. Despite this, Oppo’s response has validated DCS’s leak and generated excitement around the device.
