Oppo is set to launch its latest foldable phone, the Find N5, in just ten days. During a preview event, we got our hands on the device and were impressed by its remarkable design.
The Find N5 boasts an incredible thickness of only 5.3mm when folded, making it the world’s thinnest book-style foldable phone. While it may not be as thin as Huawei’s trifold Mate XT, its two-panel design helps achieve this feat. The phone feels solid and sturdy despite its slim profile.
One of the standout features is the reduced visibility of the display’s crease, which is still noticeable but only becomes visible under specific lighting conditions. This innovative design choice makes the phone more user-friendly.
The Find N5 will be available in black, white, and a unique purple vegan leather model (exclusive to China). The phone runs on Oppo’s ColorOS Android skin, offering powerful multitasking features.
Key specs include:
* Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip
* IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water-resistance certifications
* Wireless charging and wired options
The Find N5 launches globally, including the US (though no exact release date has been confirmed), starting next week.
