Oracle Scores $30 Billion Cloud Deal Amid Market Movers

Oracle’s shares rose after the company announced a single cloud deal worth over $30 billion in annual revenue. The deal is expected to start flowing in fiscal year 2028 and would represent nearly three times the size of its current infrastructure business.

BitMine, a crypto company, also made news with a new $250 million placement. Meanwhile, Boeing shares slid after the company announced it will be replacing its chief financial officer, Brian West, who stepped down in mid-August to be succeeded by Jesus “Jay” Malave. The changes come as Boeing navigates a period of crisis and restructuring under CEO Kelly Ortberg.
