Oregon Baseball Seeded 12th Overall in Latest NCAA Projections

Oregon baseball will await the NCAA selection show on Monday, May 26, to discover its seeding and regional assignment for the upcoming tournament. The Ducks, regular-season Big Ten champions, have been projected as the No. 12 overall seed by Baseball America, with a potential host location in Eugene.

The team’s strong season, including a 10-game winning streak at the end of the regular season, has earned it a spot among the top-16 seeded teams for regional play. Oregon (42-14, 22-8 Big Ten) will face Arizona, Kentucky, and North Dakota State if they host in the Eugene region.

Oregon baseball’s RPI sits at No. 17 with its 42-14 record, indicating it has played a challenging schedule, including Quad 1 opponents. The team’s performance in conference play was also impressive, losing only one series against Ohio State but sweeping several other teams, including rival Oregon State.

The NCAA selection show will take place on May 26 at 9 a.m., and the regional round is scheduled for May 30-June 2.
