Oregon has secured a major recruitment win, as five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord committed to the Ducks on Wednesday afternoon. The top-ranked defender had been closely tied to Auburn and Ohio State throughout his recruitment process. However, he ultimately chose Oregon over his former suitors.
Offord’s commitment follows Darkorien Moore, who signed with Oregon earlier in the day, marking a significant boost for the program’s 2025 class. The duo of Offord and Moore gives Oregon two of the top-ranked players in the ESPN 300.
Offord had visited both Oregon and Ohio State during his recruitment process but was also heavily scouted by Auburn. Despite being closely tied to the Tigers, Offord ultimately chose Oregon, solidifying a promising defensive class for the Ducks.
The addition of Offord brings the total number of recruits in Oregon’s 2025 class to five ESPN 300 defenders, including Trey McNutt, Dorian Brew, Nasir Wyatt, and Gavin Nix. Four-star athlete Brandon Finney is also expected to join the class as a cornerback. This move marks an exciting development for Oregon’s football program.
