The Orlando Magic are reviving their classic designs by bringing back pinstripes on three jerseys, as well as introducing a new logo featuring a “cascading star trail.” The team claims the design is a nostalgic tribute to its fans’ favorite jerseys, replacing the iconic “A” with a stylized star. According to executive vice president of marketing and social responsibility Shelly Wilkes, the designs were inspired by fan feedback and aim to bridge the old and new eras of the club.
The primary icon features a blue basketball with white stars behind it, while the global logo includes the words “Orlando Magic” in white around a black circle with a blue trim. The team has filed trademark applications for 15 unique designs, each incorporating a star motif, including one featuring a basketball within a star.
