Over 400 Injured as Israel Strikes Gaza, 81 Killed

At least 81 Palestinians have been killed and over 400 injured in Israeli strikes across Gaza within the past 24 hours, according to the Hamas-run health ministry. The attacks occurred near a stadium in Gaza City where displaced people were sheltering, resulting in at least 11 deaths, including children.

Eyewitnesses report finding bodies buried under sand after explosions rocked the area. The Israeli military claims it struck only one individual who posed a threat to its forces but acknowledges no other casualties due to their strikes.

US President Donald Trump expressed hope for an agreement on a ceasefire within a week. Qatar’s mediators believe US pressure could secure a deal following a truce between Israel and Iran that ended the 12-day conflict.

The region is witnessing renewed fighting, despite efforts by mediators to broker a new ceasefire. Organizers of a rally in Tel Aviv called for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

Gaza has seen more than 56,000 deaths since Israel’s bombardment began in response to an attack on its territory.
