Over 62,000 Palestinians Killed in Gaza Conflict Since October 2023

A devastating war in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 62,000 Palestinians since October 2023. The conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 18,885 children, with Israeli attacks accounting for most of the fatalities.

According to reports, Israeli forces have killed 51 people, including seven aid seekers, in a single day alone. Gaza’s Health Ministry has warned of severe shortages in laboratory materials and blood bank supplies due to an ongoing blockade.

Hamas has proposed a ceasefire deal, but Israel has yet to issue an official response. Iranian state media reported that at least one person was killed after munitions left from the Israeli war exploded near Beyranshahr.

Lebanon’s prime minister has reaffirmed his country’s plan to limit arms possession to the army by year’s end, a move rejected by Hezbollah as being aligned with Israeli and US pressure. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers attacked a father and son in Hebron, and one person was injured by Israeli gunfire in Tulkarem city.

A key development in the conflict came when Syrian officials discussed strengthening stability in southern Syria with an Israeli delegation in Paris talks. However, it remains to be seen how these efforts will impact the ongoing war.

The situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with thousands of Palestinians killed and many more injured. The international community is watching with growing concern as the conflict drags on.
