Blizzard Entertainment has announced the launch of Season 14 for Overwatch 2 on December 10. The upcoming season will introduce a new hero, Scottish punk rock tank Hazard, to the game. Additionally, fans can expect an Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover, featuring Aang as Zenyatta and a Venture skin inspired by earthbender Toph Beifong.
The extent of the crossover is unclear, but players should anticipate a handful of skins, most of which will require Overwatch Coins to unlock. This marks the third major animated tie-in with Overwatch, following collaborations with One Punch Man and Cowboy Bebop. The season will also include returning modes and limited-time events, such as Winter Wonderland and Lunar New Year.
The update brings balance changes to the game, including the return of Classic mode’s Moth old meta era, which led to Mercy’s rework in previous seasons. Overwatch 2 is available to play for free on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
