Pacers’ John Haliburton Allowed Back to Games After Confrontation with Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Indiana Pacers have allowed John Haliburton, Tyrese Haliburton’s father, to attend home games in a suite, effective immediately. The decision comes after an on-court confrontation between John and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo on April 29. Following the incident, John was not permitted to attend games due to his behavior.

However, sources indicate that John has been given a second chance to watch Tyrese play from home. This change is conditional on John avoiding road games, as previously decided by the Pacers’ front office. The Haliburtons apologized for their actions following the game, with John writing: “I sincerely apologize to Giannis… this was not a good reflection on our sport or my son and I will not make that mistake again.”

The Pacers are currently leading the series 2-1 against the New York Knicks, with Tyrese set to face off in Game 4. Despite the confrontation, Antetokounmpo has stated that he and John Haliburton have since made amends.
