Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton and Fever’s Caitlin Clark are Close Friends

Basketball stars from Indiana, including Pacers forward Tyrese Haliburton and Fever star Caitlin Clark, have formed a strong bond that goes beyond their rivalry on the court. According to ESPN, the two players are part of a group chat with Haliburton’s girlfriend Jade Jones and Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery.

The four friends frequently communicate 24/7, often hanging out together outside of games. They even go on double dates, showcasing the strong camaraderie between them.

During Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Clark cheered on Haliburton as he scored 22 points with 11 assists, helping his team take a 2-1 series lead over the Thunder.

Haliburton confirmed that Clark records herself reacting to game-winning plays at the end of games, including an unreleased video. “It’s a pretty iconic video,” Clark said. The Pacers and Fever have made significant strides in recent years, with Haliburton helping break a 25-year NBA finals drought and Clark leading the Fever to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Both players expressed their desire to stay with their teams for the entirety of their careers. “Ty and I would both tell you this is where we both hope to stay the rest of our careers,” Clark said. The strong friendship between Haliburton and Clark adds a new layer to their on-court rivalry, making them fan favorites in Indiana basketball.
