The Green Bay Packers have selected edge rusher Barryn Sorrell, a late-round pick at No. 124, in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sorrell, who appeared unexpectedly in the green room, shared a traditional hug with commissioner Roger Goodell, indicating his presence despite not being on the initial list of invitees.
Sorrell, 22, has experience playing for Texas, where he recorded 15.5 sacks over two seasons. His collegiate career includes 49 games and 40 starts. He also earned two All-Big 12 honorable mention selections. The Packers will now start his professional journey in the NFC North.
