Pakistan Troops Kill 35 Terrorists, 22 Security Personnel

Pakistan’s military has launched a series of counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan, killing at least 23 terrorists and eliminating multiple hideouts.

In two separate operations, troops killed 11 terrorists in Harnai district and 12 others in Kalat. The banned Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack on Kalat’s Mangochar area, where 18 security personnel were martyred.

The attacks come as part of efforts to eliminate terror threats in the region. Four Levies personnel were killed in a bomb blast in Dera Ismail Khan, while President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have condemned the attacks and praised the security forces for their bravery.

President Zardari said that terrorist elements want to disrupt peace in Balochistan, but security forces will continue their operations to eliminate them. The prime minister also stated that terrorists are enemies of Balochistan’s peace and development.

Security forces have reaffirmed their commitment to thwarting attempts to sabotage peace, stability, and progress in the region.
